We want to help refugee families in their goals to achieve self-sufficiency by helping them learn English and practical life skills, as well as share with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The T.E.A. House partners with International Christian Enterprise and World Relief to provide help and encouragement to the refugees in Fort Worth, Texas. We currently provide a free internet cafe, ESL practice and assistance, computer and life-skill training, friendship, and of course, tea! We hope that through building relationships with the refugees we also may share the love and grace of Jesus Christ, our Savior!

How You Can Get Involved with the T.E.A. House

Volunteer

We need volunteers for a wide range of needs, which include:

• Tutor/help refugees practice English (you don't need to be a teacher or have experience!)

• Provide transportation to appointments

• Lend your green thumb in our community garden

• Repair/maintain our computers

We also need professional assistance in the following areas:

• Legal

• Tax

• Counseling

• Jobs

• Healthcare

Prayer

The most important involvement you can lend to our mission is prayer. Please pray for these needs:

• Spiritual protection

• For the refugees - particularly their openness to the Gospel

• Help and resources for afterschool tutoring for the high school refugees

• Volunteers

• Additional home bible studies

If you believe in the work that we are doing, help us spread the word about what we are doing and the impact we are making by "liking" or "sharing" our pages. People can't volunteer or donate to our cause if they don't know about it. This is a very real way you can support our efforts.
