Transportation for village workers: Most Romanian pastors serve two or more churches. One pastor serves four congregations without salary (!), and provides for his family by serving as mayor of his home village. Another pastor serves churches in two villages that are more than 100 kilometers apart, while living in yet another village! Pastors often miss services for the simple reason that they have no way to get there.

We have tried to help overcome that difficulty in the following ways: We give money to pay volunteers for gas (very expensive for Romanians) to transport workers. We bought a car for the Somes Missionary Circle, and pay half of the driver’s salary. These things have helped, but more of the same is needed.
