You can help this ministry by providing:
- Bibles
$7.00 will provide a text edition of the Bible in Romanian.
$15.00 will provide a Study Bible for a Bible study leader.
$50.00 will start a Bible Study - 1 Leader's Study Bible & 5 text Bibles for
participants.
- Computers
Good used computers and components are badly needed. If you are upgrading your computer or
know someone who is, it can be used in Romania. We can also give a tax- deductible receipt
for it. (Please, nothing older than a 486) Or, you may wish to pay the cost of sending a
refurbished computer to Romania - $100.00.
- Medical
Medical supplies of all kinds are needed. If you have access to physicians samples of
medicines or prescription medications that are clearly identifiable and whose dates have
not expired, we can use them. They will be given to churches. Volunteers will sort them
and they will be used to fill prescriptions free for persons who cannot afford to buy
them.
Also, surgical supplies that are usually thrown away here are badly needed in Romania. If
you or someone you know works in a hospital or physicians office, get in touch with us for
more details about how you can help.
- Clothing
Children's clothing is especially needed. Please don't give our Romanian friends anything
you would be ashamed for your child to wear. Good used clothing is very useful however -
especially for children. We can also use really good used clothing for adults.
- Frequent Flier Miles / Buddy Passes
If you or someone you know travels a lot an business, and if your frequent flier miles are
transferable; or if you or someone you know is a pilot, we can use "buddy
passes" to help cut the cost of travel. We pay our own way when we go. These things
would help us be able to go more often. On the other hand, we have volunteers who would go
and work, but who are unable to bear the cost personally. These gifts would make it
possible for them to go.
- Money
In some cases, goods and services can be purchased in Romania at less than what it would
cost to transport them from here. Financial contributions are 100% tax deductible and can
be designated to any specific area of interest. Because we travel at our own expense, all
designated funds have been and will be used only for the purpose for which they are given.
