Somes Missionary Circle

Somes Missionary Circle was formed in 1999 to encourage and support the ministries of local associated churches for strategic work in the Somes River area of Romania . The work has continued to grow until outreach has begun to spread even to the Romanian people living in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine .

The area map of Cercul Misionar Somes on the back shows where we work. By now, some 36 elders, deacons, pastors and missionaries are at work with some 24 churches and in some villages where there is no other known evangelical witness within a 50 mile radius of the city of Dej .

Elpis Foundation was founded only a few weeks later to meet many of the material needs of the people, augmenting the spiritual ministries of these devoted workers in the Missionary Circle .

Please pray for the Following:

• -         open hearts and acceptance of the Gospel

• -         new workers in the churches, that are ready to serve

• -         churches willing to be partners with village churches

• -         encouragement for older members to keep the faith

• -         a good testimony of the small churches in the community
